Marotta, Tuchman & Blazini, LLC's Partner Jason C. Tuchman Appointed to the Superior Court of New Jersey

Marotta Tuchman & Blazini, LLC is proud to announce that longtime partner and family law attorney Jason C. Tuchman has been appointed as a Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court.
Jason Tuchman has been a dedicated member of the legal community for over 20 years, focusing his practice on family law matters including divorce, custody and mediation cases. Known for his integrity, professionalism, and deep commitment to justice, he has consistently demonstrated the qualities essential to judicial service.
“We congratulate Jason on this well-deserved appointment and realization of a dream,” said Genevieve Blazini, partner at MTB. “While we are sad to see him leave the firm, we are honored to have had him as a colleague and know the bench will be well served by his thoughtfulness and experience,” said Mark Marotta, partner at MTB.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Tuchman has been active in professional organizations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, and serving as President of the Passaic County Bar Association from 2023-2024. He has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney since 2017, and most recently, was accepted into the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), the nation's premier organization of family law practitioners. He has never faltered on continuing legal education in the area of family law.
In accordance with the ethical guidelines governing judicial conduct, Mr. Tuchman will be stepping down from his role at Marotta, Tuchman & Blazini, and will no longer be involved in private practice. His judicial service is expected to begin on July 21, 2025, and will be assigned to the Passaic County Superior Court.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, recently affirmed a trial court's summary ruling on a grandparent visitation matter in Passaic County. Both the lower court case and the appellate matter were argued successfully (appellate case briefed) by Ms. Blazini.
